Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a home for Scientology religious services and community programmes. The anniversary brought together a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings news eu law and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
